Weigh in Wednesday!

Well hello there. It has been a few, hasn't it? Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. 
We most definitely did. It included a beautiful snowy Christmas Day playing games with my family, followed by Toby's first plane ride and some sunny days in Florida with Ryan's family. Disney to Sea World and Legoland and rushing to beat a big snow storm home.  Amongst all of that I have to say there was not much dieting going on. I did pack on a few "holiday pounds". Come January when I stepped on the scale I was none too happy by what I saw:/ I decided it was time to jump back on the train to a healthier me:) I want to run a 5k faster than I did last year and in order to do that I need to drop some more weight and train harder :) 
So without further ado here was my terrible starting weight....202.5....it hurt to even type that! 
I have been working on myself since the second week in January, but wasn't ready to come back to my blog yet. I feel like I tell you guys that I'm going to do something and then I totally bomb at it. So this time I wanted to get myself together first. So I have been eating better and have limited my pop intake severally. I have been running, doing T25, Zumba and lifting some weights. While I am still not fully blown back into a workout routine, I am on my way. I weighed myself this morning and am happy to report that my weight is 194.5....that's 8lbs! Ill take it:) 
I did have to tell myself that if I can do that in 5 weeks with minimal effort, imagine what I can do if I put 100% of myself into this! 
I got this!!! 
On a side note I am thinking about running more 5K's this year. Any suggestions?  I'm thinking about the Sunburst (if I can get off work) and maybe the one on thanksgiving day. I'm already signed up for the Color Run again:)
